Tripura sets up helpline for students stuck in Manipur

Tripura government has opened a helpline for students studying in various educational institutions, including the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) and Central Agriculture University, Imphal, and professionals stranded in Manipur due to the sudden outbreak of violence and communal tension.

CM Manik Saha on Friday held a high-level meeting at his residence with chief secretary J K Sinha and DGP Amitabha Ranjan along with other secretaries and top officials of the administration to chalk out a plan for the safety and secure evacuation of the residents of Tripura stuck in different locations of Manipur.
