Two detained in Guwahati for smuggling cattle

Based on information received on Monday, Jalukbari Outpost raided the Vidyanagar National Highway in an effort to stop cattle smuggling. Five cattle were saved by the team during the operation, and one Magic with the registration AS 01 NC 8983 was stopped.

Sources claim that the team also apprehended two cattle smugglers, Faruk Ali of Nizorapur and Izzat Ali, a 29-year-old from Dalgaon (Darang). The cattle are thought to be either illegal or stolen, and the accused was unable to provide a legal document pertaining to them.
