BJP gets BCCI’s stadium as alternative venue for Modi’s rally in Meghalaya

Days after BJP was denied permission to use the PA Sangma Sports Complex Stadium in Meghalaya’s Tura for PM Narendra Modi’s election rally on February 24, the West Garo Hills district administration has approved Alotgre Stadium in the city, reports Prabin Kalita.

Confirming this, BJP’s Meghalaya election committee co-convenor Rupam Goswami told TOI on Tuesday: “The new venue will be Alotgre Stadium in Tura, which is under BCCI.”
