Drug Smuggler Arrested with Heroin in Basistha Flyover Naka Checking

Basistha Police arrested a drug smuggler during a late-night naka checking operation on Friday near the BJP office. Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted an Alto K10 and found 20.91 grams of suspected heroin hidden in the driver’s pocket. The driver, Taibur Rahman (27) from Barpeta district, was taken into custody. The vehicle used for transporting the drugs was also seized. Legal action has been initiated against Rahman.
