Meghalaya’s beauty mesmerises G20 delegates

The high-profile delegates visiting the city for the G20 precursor event over a period of two days seem mesmerised by Meghalaya and its beauty including its picturesque town, Shillong.

The delegates visited different places in Sohra — firstly Mawkdok and then the Arwah cave —on an exposure trip on Tuesday. Most of the delegates were impressed by what they witnessed.

Speaking about his experience at the Arwah cave, a delegate was delighted by the perception that the humans are deeply linked with Earth. He juxtaposed it with Monday’s discussions on space technology, rockets, etc.

Later, they visited Nohkalikai falls, and then Mawsmai cave. The delegates also visited Nohsngithiang falls and Thanghkharang Park
