PM Narendra Modi inaugurates Donyi Polo Airport in Arunachal
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Arunachal Pradesh’s first greenfield airport, Donyi Polo Airport, in Itanagar on Saturday. This is Arunachal’s third airport after Tezu and Passighat and the 16th airport for the northeast. He also dedicated to the nation the 600 MW Kameng hydro power station in Itanagar.
The airport located at Hollongi, near the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh will link the border state with other Indian cities with commercial flights as well as other parts of Arunachal Pradesh through helicopter services.
