Shillong-Dawki road reopens for traffic

Vehicular traffic along the Shillong-Dawki road resumed on Monday afternoon after the NHIDCL cleared the debris from the landslide that occurred at Ryngngain near Lyngkyrdem on Friday last.

SDO (Civil) of Pynursla Civil Subdivision, Evarinia Warjri issued a public notice on Monday stating that the road will be open for communication till 9pm on Monday. Warjri said that the gross weight load of a vehicle should not exceed 30 tonnes.
