Guwahati Hosts 10th India International Science Festival

The 10th India International Science Festival (IISF) began in Guwahati, marking its first edition in the Northeast. The four-day event, with over 8,000 delegates and 12,000 students, aims to popularize science and innovation.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the “One Nation, One Subscription” policy, calling for inclusion of Northeast institutions. He highlighted science’s role in transforming agriculture, healthcare, and energy, urging youth to embrace innovation.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh launched the ISTI portal and celebrated the Northeast’s progress as a hub of scientific advancement.
